Cassidy’s Story: From Uncertainty to Artistic Flourish

Cassidy, a former student of Alexander Academy, recently shared her transformative journey through our High-Performance Program. She received scholarship offers totaling over CAD 84,000 from prestigious institutions such as Emily Carr, Ontario College of Art and Design, New York School of Visual Arts, University of the Arts London, Pratt Institute, University of British Columbia, and California College of the Arts. Cassidy ultimately chose to pursue her studies at California College of the Arts.

Initially uncertain about her future, Cassidy discovered her calling in the arts thanks to the unwavering support of our dedicated art teachers and advisors. They helped her hone her skills and instilled in her the confidence to pursue her dreams. With personalized guidance from our faculty, Cassidy found her passion for design, laying the foundation for her future studies. Today, she is thriving as a third-year student at the California College of the Arts, majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Computational Practice. The solid foundation she built at Alexander Academy continues to shape her artistic endeavors, setting her apart in the competitive world of visual arts.
