As the cold winter air settles around us, we are excited to kick off another vibrant winter term at Alexander Academy. We warmly welcome students from all over the world and are thrilled to see new faces, as well as familiar ones, returning to campus for another exciting semester of learning, personal growth, and community involvement.

A Warm Welcome to Students from Across the Globe

The global reach of Alexander Academy has always been one of the things that makes our community truly special. This winter semester, we are especially excited to welcome students from regions far and wide. Our Admissions Director, Ms. Lewis, is currently traveling and students in Africa and Sweden. We’re excited about the potential for students from these regions to join us next semester as we continue building a diverse, inclusive environment.

At Alexander Academy, we believe learning extends beyond the classroom. The more cultures, ideas, and perspectives we share, the stronger our community grows. The upcoming term will bring a dynamic mix of backgrounds and experiences, enriching our academic discussions, extracurriculars, and campus life.

A Club Fair for New Students

As part of our commitment to fostering a well-rounded experience, we recently hosted a Club Fair for our new students. This event is an excellent way for students to explore the many extracurricular activities available at Alexander Academy and find ways to connect with like-minded peers. Whether you’re passionate about literature, outdoor adventures, volunteering, or creative pursuits, there’s something for everyone.

Existing clubs on campus include the Book Club, where students discuss bestsellers and favorite novels. The Action Club focuses on volunteering and community service. The Outdoor Skills Club brings outdoor enthusiasts together for hikes, camping, and skill-building. The Anime Club immerses students in Japanese animation and culture. The Photography Club captures everyday beauty through the lens. The Math Club explores number theory and fun puzzles. The Ukulele Club lets students learn and play the cheerful Hawaiian instrument. The Robotics Club offers hands-on experience with coding and building robotics projects.

The Club Fair lets students join existing groups and offers them the opportunity to create new clubs if they have a passion or interest that is not yet represented on campus. Alexander Academy encourages students to take the initiative and form their own club. Alexander Academy believes in this spirit of self-empowerment and creativity. We are thrilled to see so many students actively engaging with the opportunities available to them.

Reminiscing the Winter Festival

Our campus was alive with festive spirit, thanks to the annual Winter Festival at the end of the semester. This exciting event has become a beloved tradition at Alexander Academy, and last year’s festival was no exception. Students participated in a wide variety of activities ranging from drama and dance performances to singing and live music. The festival showcased the incredible talent of our students and also demonstrated their willingness to come together as a community to celebrate the season and each other.

One highlight of the festival was the Drama Showcase, where students performed short plays and skits, mixing comedy, drama, and heartfelt moments. The Dance Showcase was just as impressive, with students of all skill levels performing choreographed routines. The Singing Performance was another major draw, with students showcasing their vocal talents in solos and group songs. It was a memorable experience for everyone involved.

The Winter Festival serves as a reminder of the importance of creativity and self-expression in a student’s life. It is an opportunity to show off talent but also a time to build confidence and connect with fellow students. Whether a student is an experienced performer or someone who simply wants to try something new, the festival gives every voice a platform to be heard.
